PROFILE

Following training with the National Youth Theatre, Cambridge University and Laban Centre for Movement and Dance, Darren received the International Bonnie Bird Choreography Award in 1997 which launched his freelance career.

A specialist in historical dance, movement for actors, singers and non-dancers, Darren has choreographed with many different dance styles, working in opera, musicals, plays, TV and film.

As a movement coach he has worked with comedians, circus performers, actors in film and musical theatre, giving individual coaching on specific roles and movement skills.

As a choreographer he has worked for numerous directors, staging spectacle and full scale events, including productions with large casts of children, dance companies and opera choruses.
